Boston New Music Festival: Transient Canvas + Dirty Paloma

As part of the inaugural Boston New Music Festival, Transient Canvas presents a program highlighting the breadth and variety of the Boston new music scene. The composers featured on this concert are all close friends and collaborators who represent the vibrant and inclusive community that makes Boston such a wonderful artistic home. Music by Keith Kirchoff, Stefanie Lubkowski, Aaron Jay Myers, and Osnat Netzer. We share the program with Dirty Paloma's Aliana de la Guardia, who presents “Spanish Johnny” a portrait of an old-time desperado and the ill-fated woman who fell in love with the outlaw using lyrics from traditional American ballads and folk songs, and music for solo voice by David Lang and Orlando Jacinto Garcia.
